About Us
The Karini-Mukesh Himatsingka Group is one of the leading automobile dealership groups in eastern India. Since its inception in 1998, the company has grown steadily under the leadership of Kavita Himatsingka and her sons Nitin and Rishabh Himatsingka. At present, the group has 1600 employees with an annual turnover of 650 crores.
Over the years, the group has diversified into distribution, hospitality, education and skill development initiatives under the Skill India Mission.
Our Journey
1998: Founded Karini-Mukesh Himatsinghka Group.
1998: Under the brand name ‘Mukesh Hyundai’ acquired the dealership of Hyundai for both West Bengal and Assam.
2007: Under the brand name ‘Royal Motors’ acquired the dealership of Mahindra for eastern and northeast India.
2007: Forayed into the hospitality business and started franchise of ‘Pizza hut’ in Guwahati.
2009: Established Mukesh Training Academy in Kolkata -a vocational training and development institute.
2010: Opened ‘Oriental Bistro’, a fine dining restaurant in Guwahati.
2011: Under the brand name ‘Kaikan Ford’ acquired the dealership of Ford for West Bengal.
2012: Established spare parts distributorship for Hyundai Mobis in Kolkata.
2013: Established spare parts distributorship for Hyundai Mobis in Guwahati.
2014: Opened the first franchise of ‘Foodies’ World’ in Guwahati.
2016: Established distributorship for Ford parts in Kolkata and Guwahati
2016: Affiliated with ‘National Skill and Development Corporation’ and ‘Skill India Mission’ and started placement linked training programmes sponsored by the central and state government of India.
2019: Acquired distributorship of Nandini Milk for east India, northeast India and in the neighbouring country of Bhutan.
2020: Launched the dealership of MG Motors in Guwahati.
